Hi there!

Wow, I really wanted to join this game when it was an actual game, and I'm sad to see it go. But I'm happy to see it's still around. it seems like such a cute concept. c: For those of you still around, I would like to bring my character into fun plot-times, if that's okay? ~~i made all these icons and worked on an AU bg and i would just hate to see it all go to waste~~

So, this is Karkat, from that really long flash webcomic about kids and trolls and shenanigans. He's human in this AU, but he was blessed with super powers from the meteor... though they aren't that great. They pretty much made his blood and eyes change colors.

I would love to continue fleshing out his character with anyone interested in doing PSLs or rumblr posts! More information about the little jerk can be found on the app I was writing for him. And if you want to make some homestuck AUs to play along with him, I'd be happy with that. But I'm reaching out to the oldies here, too. I just want to play with him. I can certainly keep out the swearing/adult-humor that comes along with Homestuck to keep with the theme of the original game.

Feel free to poke me whenever. I hope I will get the opportunity to play with you all!

First of all, thank you to the mod squad for creating this game in the first place. Omegafriends has been such a fun game, and I'm glad that it wasn't just closed down completely. I hope I'm not the only one interested in keeping this little world going.

Since Omegafriends is now a superhero AU dressing room, I thought I'd bring up an idea I had for a plot that I originally pitched to the mod squad that's based on the Alien Force episode "Save the Last Dance" which will hopefully help set up another plot a few months or so down the road along with hopefully sparking some people to get back in the game.

Greetings, Omegafriends! This is your head mod Prof speaking.

As previously discussed, it has been a long time since this game was running at anything resembling full power or since I had the presence and drive to continue giving it the attention it deserves. That situation has not changed in the weeks that followed. Accordingly, it is with a heavy heart that I now announce that Omegafriends is officially ceasing operations as a fully-fledged RP, and I am going to bid it farewell.

Does this mean that Omegafriends is closing? Not exactly - however, it shall move forwards in a smaller, simpler form. Over the next 24 hours, I will be making adjustments so that it can continue to run without mod involvement, as a superhero AU dressing room. No apps, no mod-run plots, but anyone can join the community and keep on posting, as long as there is enough of a player base around to keep it breathing.

Thank you for helping me make this game a reality, however briefly. Wherever evil lurks, the Omegafriends will be ready to fight back!

Hello everybody! Names zferolie. Some of you may know me from other games and others may not. Nice to meet you and happy to play with you guys again!

I am bringing my favorite touhou character to this game, Tewi Inaba. This adorable little girl is a rabbit youkai, and is the white hare of Inaba of legend. The canon for her is pretty much the same, just remove Gensokyo from it.

She still lives with Kaguya and works at her company. To people on the outside, she just looks like the mascot of the children's medicines. Inside though she runs the legal and accounting departments, using her skills of handling money and luck to help keep the company at the top of its game.

Look forward to playing with you all, and i hope you guys don't mind getting scammed by an adorable little girl sometimes.

Anyway, this is my third character (and the last one for awhile I swear). During the day, Melanie Mayfield is an average(?) student at Crookston Academy, who happens to also be the daughter of a dairy farmer and is obsessed with milk. Also, awkward teenager.

But at night, Hex Maniac is a necromancer who likes to cause trouble with ghosts. And hexes. Because why would she be call herself Hex Maniac if she wasn't into hexes? Also, she has a copy of the Necronomicon.

Technically she's a Pokemon character, but due to the fact that Hex Maniac isn't much of a proper character, she's an OC. And stuff.

If any of you ever want to end up with some sort of curse on your character, let me know~ Could be anything from just having a rash to being turned into a toad.

In her stead I bring another (ex?) royalty! Kaguya Houraisan, the strange and eccentric moon princess. Yes, she's from the moon.

She's not too different from her canon counterpart, for those that know her. Except no Gensokyo or spellcards (not that spellcards are strictly necessary to invoke bullet hell).

Also, she's the CEO of Eientei Pharmaceuticals, and an honorary Omegafriend. She just kinda goofs off and does as she pleases. She's been around for awhile so it's possible for her to be already acquainted with some characters if you wish.

For those characters that are familiar with Japanese folkore, it's totally cool for them to know of her through the Kaguya-hime legend.

Shit I haven't written an RP introduction post in so long what do I put here.

HEY LOSERS. I'M AF, as about half of you probably already know. I'm bringing in Jonathan "JoJo" Joestar from some weird-ass manga/anime called JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, well known for ridiculous clothes, even more ridiculous posing, and extremely ridiculous publishing length. Also for the protagonist changing every so often, but this JoJo is the original JoJo and thus clearly the best. My experiences with Pokemon and Transformers fans tell me that this is how things work.

Seriously, though, JoJo is a giant puppy dog. He is a total sweetheart who wants to make you smile and wouldn't hurt a fly. Unless the fly is a supervillain. Then the fly is going down. He's from England, but he's participating in a student exchange program with Venture City College of the Arts. (He's studying archaeology! Ask him about the Aztecs! ~~Or don't because I don't want to spend the next week on Wikipedia trying to fake in-depth knowledge of the Aztecs.~~) He's also filthy stinkin' rich and will be staying in his own fancy-ass house complete with butler and cook and other various servants. Does it have some kind of Starcave or something? It probably has some kind of Starcave. Because as I have yet to mention, JoJo is joining the Omegafriends as Guardian Star. His powers are complicated and I'm just going to sum them up by saying it hurts when he punches you. The full run-down is in his app in his journal.

This is Abd Al Hakim/Zulma/nameless faceless voiceless dork from the upper part of Africa. THEY ARE SUPER FRIENDLY and generally always willing to help and lend a hand as long as it doesn't involve hitting someone. They are one hundred percent there, until it involves punching, and then they have to go somewhere else.

It's time for the monthly activity check for August!

All players must reply to this post with activity details for every character they play. There are three ways you can make activity for this month:

Option A
One post by the character, plus a number of comment threads containing between them at least six comments by your character. The threads linked must number at least two, and must include two different characters other than your own. The threads can be on your post.

Option B
A number of comment threads containing between them at least twenty comments by your character. The threads linked must number at least three, and must include three different characters other than your own.

Option C
If your character was accepted into the game after this month's Test Drive went up (on the 15th), no activity is required.

Multiple consecutive comments by the same character with nobody else commenting between them count as one comment for activity purposes. A thread can be used even if it continues past the end of the month, so long as it began during the month. Guest Stars do not need to post activity, nor does anyone who spent at least seven days of the month on hiatus.

It is time for a new month! What do we have cooked up in September?

Lady Blue Continued
The missing Omegabase is still at large - this plot will continue a bit into this month. Soon, either when someone figures it out ICly or when a few more days have passed, the clues will point to our destination: 1611, England! Once there, the second stage of Blue's heist will be unveiled, and a search will reveal the location of the stolen Omegabase. A final chase through time will end in Blue's capture and the base's return.

Don't worry about being ICly trapped in the past during this plot - thanks to the miracle of time travel, anyone who heads out will arrive 5 minutes after they left, no matter how long they stay in 1611.

School Begins
Look studious, kids! The Venture City school year starts on September 2nd, the day after Labor Day. Finally, the school antics you all dreamed of can become a reality.

Player Plots
Beyond this, we aren't planning on running any events this month. Instead, we turn control of the game back over to you, the players!

This would be a fantastic time to app some guest stars for one-off plotlines. Discuss ideas in the comments!

Sorry guys, but while i was on my hiatus I came to the sad realization that even though I really want to, I'm having some trouble really getting into things here. So I'm going to drop completely for the time being.

Maybe I'll come back around if I ever figure things out, but in the meantime keep this awesome game going!

I'm Fennel, a new arrival! I'm bring this lady here, Himiko, a pretty cheerful fox. She's an original character, a kitsune that got stuck between a rock and a hard place for a looong time, went through a number of shenanigans and is now finally in this city, because it seems fun and exciting!

She'll be wildly flip-flopping between heroic and villainous antics, because she's finicky like that, and is looking forward to run into all sorts of people.

As promised (threatened?), here's my other character: An OC who goes by "Doomkitty".

What's a super hero game without the typical cat-burglar with a cat theme? Doomkitty is here to fulfill that role, but with her own twist.

Here is a 40-ish year old woman trapped in an eternally 18-ish (19? 20? 21?) year old body, due to the fact that back in the early 90s she ended up in the world of a Sierra-style adventure game (More Quest for Glory-ish than anything else, for those that even know what that is. She picked the thief class)

Which means she's died-erm, had game overs. A lot. Good thing she could save and load.

Now that she's free from being forced to do heroics, she took up cat burglary. Because that's all she knows to do with all the skills she picked up, and it's kinda fun anyway.

Also, she ended up keeping the save/load system (albeit not quite as powerful as it was before she escaped), and her narrator somehow followed her over.

~~That said, I'll wait a bit before giving her an IC entry due to Mint's recent debut.~~ Ok I lied.

Hey, it's Doctor. I'm back with a group of heroes named Spark and Zapps. Spark being the pilot, a reptilian alien and Zapps, the suit itself, a complicated piece of hardware to say the least. She's looking to make friends, enjoy a new world that probably won't kick her out, and a lovely day in the sun. Just she will also steal any fish you leave lying around because those things are delicious. Very delicious.

Spark and Zapps are pretty fresh to Earth itself and definitely would be left in a naive state. Spark more than Zapps, since Zapps has an over-analyzing status quo about him. Personalities meant to support each other, though Spark is quite capable of just ignoring this. Looking for plenty of fresh, lovely CR. Especially with other mechanically minded individuals to talk shop with!

Tremble in your boots Omegafriends, for I, Vehrec, have been possessed by a force byond your imagining! I do not control this muse-she controls me, and has demanded to be placed in this game. I can only obey my dark mistress, MIR and preform her bidding. Apparently, her bidding was to be AUed into a regular Cold Warrior who' spent the last 25 years on ice, Winter Soldier style, and will now be defrosted into a world without the USSR.

For the time being, she will be one of Lord Titan's minions, controlled by a series of cybernetic implants-but who can say how long and how deep the grip of such things will affect her? After all, it must rankle the champion of the Proletariat something awful to be under the thumb of a capitalist.

Oh, and if you have a cybernetic or a robotic theme to your powers or something, please tell me if I can take control like the puppet-mistress that Mir is.

sup, Omegafriends?

Some of you probably know me. Floogy here, bringing to you (ex-)Princess Mint from Threads of Fate.

In canon, she is a spoiled rotten crown princess, who is ousted by her younger sister and subsequently demoted to servant. She runs away from home to find a powerful artifact and get revenge... and later.... WORLD DOMINATION!

Despite all this, she is one of two main characters of the game. She's brash, reckless, and prone to violence. Yet, in the end, she will do the right thing. Not because she discovers the power of love and/or friendship, though. Okay, maybe a bit of friendship.

Sadly, Mint here is pretty much reflecting her early state in the game well before post-game (not that she changes terribly much by the end of her canon). Her initial AU history is pretty much the same, except she ends up joining the Omegafriends in her search for WORLD DOMINATION! (not that she's announcing that fact, but she could very well let that slip at some point).

Much to her chagrin, she'll be going to Venture High when summer vacation is over. Because she is only 16, after all.

She may or may not end up a temporary villain down the line, but for the most part you can consider her on the hero side of things here despite her terrible personality.

Also, I have another character in the pipeline that should be coming soon-ish... so, yeah, stuff. Hi!
